ColonelCrazy
We really need to revert to the old weekly threads. The new thread for each series makes it difficult to follow along & contribute to the threads.

littleluck55
Do you think Phillips is regretting not agreeing to the trade with Washington yet?
ColonelCrazy
Why? the dates are in the thread title. The substantive conversation is much better in the weekly threads, as opposed to the series by series approach when the threads are locked hours after the series finale making posters unable to respond to specific posts or issues unless it's done within a couple hours of the final out. Considering the previous threads have not been closed until the current series ends, your comment doesnt hold water.
plantmanky
Do you think Phillips is regretting not agreeing to the trade with Washington yet? No because it can still be about him. If he was in Washington, would they even know he was playing?
MJAlltheWay24
Do you think Phillips is regretting not agreeing to the trade with Washington yet? Maybe he'll decide to accept a deal to a contender in a month or so.

I'd say no. He's comfortable here. It wasn't about winning and losing.

If the Nationals would've been willing to give him a contract extension, he'd have accepted it.
