Campbell Co. 70 Bourbon Co 0

Well they scheduled rockcastle, scott county last year, you just don't do that kind of stuff with and 0-25 team.

Great game for the Camels and a class act in emptying the benches early.

Johnson scored the last touchdown for the Camels

Could this be part of a contract game from last year?

Yes this is a contract game from last year. It was a 2 year, 2 game contract.

Score would not be this bad if Bourbon was not throwing the ball and having it intercepted. Not sure the number, but there were several with big returns that set up scores with runs inside the tackles.

Austin Johnson was in for like one play and he scored from 20 yards out.

Overall, I would say a great start for the Camels. Looks like Coach Styer has the kids working hard and getting ready for another tough year, because it sure does not get any easier for them over the next few games and then there is our district to worry about. I thought the stadium looked great last night, hats off to those staff people that help put it together. I have a good feeling about the kids and the team this season.

I agree, that's a dilemma. Why schedule a team that's so bad then. That's why Highlands dropped Ncc.

For some reason CC did not renew their contract with HHS. I believe this is the one they replaced it with.

I'd say this will be the last year the Camels play Bourben.

The Camels did win the game, but they lost a starter to injury in the process. It is time for the back ups to step up.

Sounds like our boy's really played well together. Coach styer's will not let the boy's miss the playoffs this year and winning the district along the way will only boost their confidence for a big season.

Right, it was a great choice. Starters get to play 16 min and then hit the showers. I use to hate playing patsies....well..maybe on homecoming it wasnt so bad.

Styer has those guys playing much better, you don't have to put Highlands on your schedule but Bourbon Co???? come on.

Coach Styer did not put Bourbon Co. on the schedule. The schedule was made before coach schlarmen left.

Thanks for the clarification.... next piece of business for Styer....Take them off the schedule as soon as possible.

How did Kenny Walker do? How does he fit in for the Camels this season?
