FBI director confirms Clinton email investigation not a "security review"

Featured Replies

I certainly hope so.

I don't like Hillary at all but I'm still struggling with how emails will be her demise.

Is there anything Clinton won't lie about?

I still can't believe the sway the Clinton camp has they haven't been able to sweep this under the rug. Most of the agents investigating have to know come January there is a REALLY good chance Hillary will ultimately be their boss ie she appoints the Attorney General who the Director of the FBI reports to. The only saving grace would be if an agent investigating her is gone after by Hillary's goons, that agent can go to Congress and ask for an investigation. That and if you were fired by the president to hide fraud/corruption/whatever else could be pinned on Hillary, you would have a great book deal and speaking arrangements and if you threatened to sue for wrongful termination, Soros, Clooney, rest of Hollywood and other Clintonites would most likely pay HANDSOMELY for your silence, probably far more than you would make in the rest of your career.

Calling this "emails" is certainly trying to minimize it. It is multiple felonies that could be her demise.

I hear that all of the time but for all of the stuff we "know" she has done folks are really hanging their hats on nailing her over emails? People do understand she can claim complete and total ignorance on the nuances of digital issues? If folks think a person as savvy politically and legally as Hillary Clinton is going to jail over some emails and a private server then I have some prime oceanfront property in Nashville, TN I'll sell to you for a top notch price.

Do people really believe that they have hardcore evidence on Hillary or that they will get some? If they had it she'd be indicted already.

Do you really need an answer? I understand politicians at high levels got there due to lying to some degree but with her, it seems limitless. I honestly cannot think of a more repugnant politician in my lifetime and still can't see how anyone could support her. My vote is against Hillary more so than for Gary Johnston (assuming he is the libertarian candidate).

It was a felony at word go.

As far as what happens to Clinton, nothing would surprise me.

I think the media keeps repeating emails because the low information voters can understand that. The more accurate description would not register with most public. Similar how the vast majority of the public think Bill was impeached for adultery instead of perjury and obstruction of justice.

I'll be surprised if she is indicted. I don't know what more they can find out now that they don't already know and they have yet to do anything significant. Bunch of wusses.

It will come down to the FBI results I agree. But I have two good friends who are Federal Government employees who do back round and investigations who grant clearance. One of which is a long time democrat. Neither are happy about the Hillary situation. They both think the investigation is simple based on standards they are given for the people they investigate. One of them told me there is no way they could grant Hillary an upgrade in these infractions on clearance and probably would have to submit a report for charges. Now she wants the highest of all clearance .

But they also both agree Hillary is pretty high up and a Nixon save is probable.

Ignorance has never been a defense .

FBI says investigation, great cover for Hillary.

She won't be touched, FBI ain't got the guts.

Ignorance has never been a defense .

For the rich and powerful it can be even though I don't think she was ignorant. I just don't see anything coming from it. Why is it taking so long? It should be cut and dry shouldn't it?
