Absolutely.....Mayfield exceded my expectations of a game opener. The offense put up lots of points thanks to turnovers and the "D" definitely stepped up!!! Good luck next week Cards!!! All the motivation needed is "28-0"

Yeah, Marshall is going to be alot better, but has Frosh QB, I think they turned the ball over like 5 times against Daviess. I see this game being a good one!

 

Good first week for Mayfield, technically a shutout, they were lagging and trying to get to halftime when Caldwell's TD took place under 20 seconds to go in the half!

Marshall's QB is a junior, and he will be fine. They just return one starter, but he's a very good one .. RB Alan Williams, who had 7 TDs against Daviess.

I believe that Coach Lawson will have the boys on "D" prepared to take Williams out of the game plan and make Barga (the QB) beat us by going to someone else...Barga did throw some picks in the game...so if the Cards can get some field position I believe that we will win a tight one 24-14.

Well, Marshall is going to ride the horse as long as it can, and they can always move him around in their scheme. He's also a heck of a receiver.

 

Marshall's offense should be fine if their offensive line develops.
