I too would like to see East Carter in action.Not often you can see a Big time D1 pitcher pitch at the high school level.That being said I'm sure EC has some solid defenders and good ballplayers but when 1 player accounts for 17.2 outs per 7 innings Fouts needs to be on the entire tourney to win it all.Really they could've finished at least 28-3 by scoring just 2 runs every game.Get out of Eastern ky. and the games will get a lot tougher.I believe they will dominate their region but will fall a little short at state.

FWIW they have not " dominated" the region . Beat Russell 3-2 after being down 2-1 in the 7th inning and went to extra innings against Boyd Co . And the 16th is a little down as compared to the last few years when Ashland had a dominant pitcher. I must say stating you have one of the best D's in the state when your pitcher strikes out 15 a game is a little quirky . That D hasn't been tested at all , maybe its just some coach speak and I dont have any problem with that at all.

When i say dominate i meant win considering EC was 17-0 in region play while giving up 8 runs.I consider that dominating a region.I'm sure any coach in the state would rather not face EC.

All these peeps hating on Scott County...only two years removed from a STATE TITLE. FYI this team starts 8 players from that championship team. SOS, only two losses this season to McCracken. Legit title contenders. Yep

Scott County is a legit contender but they got a very good team standing in their way in Woodford Co.

I don't know all of the regions, but the games that look most interesting today are Holy Cross/Butler, Oldham/Anderson, and East Carter/Ashland.

I wouldnt be surprised for the Ashland EC score to be close . And Ashland is no where near what they have been the past 6 years .
