No, but those cheerleading trophies are certainly tainted. :p

Some correct my earlier post if its incorrect. NOT ONE player saw action tonight who was not on the roster last season.

Its a moot point. I have always respected you OneIJoe, but this is consuming you man. Belfry owns Prestonsburg. Just deal with it. I think last season the only player originally from WV, worth mention that ROMPED your team was #6 Corey Chapman. I dont think that was the deal breaker in the 49-7 game. Matt Maynard (HOME GROWN BABY) could have walked into the endzone all night.

Please, just give it a rest. When you sing the same ole song over and over, people get tired of hearing it.

Great post!!!! except Devilologists started it (this time) not oneijoe:thumb:

I thought of that immediately after posting it. I like OneIJoe, but I have heard this for so long now. Chat Yates is still fresh in his mind. He played, Belfry still won. Lets move on.

...

But I'm not sure the relatively small number of kids from WV actually create a competitive advantage in sports. I think it is just the 2 or 3 high profile players that got a LOT of attention seem to give that impression.

Read what you just wrote... You admitted there's a "few" along with "2 or 3high profile players". But yet, you also claim there's NO competitive advantage for Belfry ?!?

Without the "small number of kids from WV" coming to Belfry, there wouldn't even be "2 or 3 high profile players that got a LOT of attention" in the first place.

Two players you mention made ALL the difference on the '03 and '04 Belfry teams. We both know how close our teams were those years. Do you think Belfry would have gotten past Prestonsburg each time without both or even one of them ?!?

Hahahaha !!! We ALL know you're a mixed up pup, BB. You don't have to document it (you know I love ya, sweetie !!).

:D

I don't wanna talk about last season. Belfry could have used only those players living in the Belfry city limits (if there is such a thing) and beaten us badly last year.

It only "consumes" me when someone from out of the area sees it. It's simple confirmation of what I'd pointed out a looong time ago.

It ain't my song this time. Complain to Devilologists. I'm only singing backup. ;)

Finally -someone gets it......

My Gosh- do you actually have to spell things out on here.

...

Speaking of having to spell things out....

You misspelled "excussion".

:p:D

Not that I care, but does anyone besides me think that oneijoe is THE most biased poster on BGP????

Why the sour grapes???? Add to that the fact that I am pretty sure Doug Howard and David Jones were both born @ ARH (Pike Co. KY).

Get over it dude, Belfry owns Prestonsburg anyway you look at it. It's not going to change. Prestonsburg doesn't start fights any better than they play football. Haywood owns DeRossett. Belfry has a classy program, Prestonsburg doesn't. You're fighting a losing battle, and each time you do I think a little less of you.

Ask coaches around the state who has one of the classiest programs in the state and Belfry's name will be mentioned (regardless of where the kids are originally from), that point is moot and only proves Phillip Haywood demands sportmanship and good conduct from ALL players. Ask coaches across the state whose players disrespectfully represent their school and 7 out of 10 will say Prestonsburg, which is a direct reflection upon the staff (and their prior showings at camps and passing leagues).

Oneijoe, why you defend or stand by a school with such a horrid representation is only your business. But don't try to drag others into the mud with them. Be a devout fan and cheer on your team through thick and thin, but don't cast a shadow on one of the classier teams I've seen because your team-colored goggles are the wrong shade of Red & Black.
