Battle of 36th District rivals tomorrow in Newport. Birds beat the Breds a couple weeks ago in the Brossart tournament, however NewCath's pitching ace, Haley Meyers did not pitch in that game.

The number one seed in the district is one the line.

Gametime set for 5:00 at Newport Veterans Memorial Park #2.

Picking this one is like picking the powerball numbers. The Pete Noll was an anomaly. Can't count that one. The only things I can predict is a good game, a great crowd and Lawnboy coming to his favorite place!!! We all know he secretly wants to be a Bird!!!

Is Meyers pitching Tomorrow? If she is then NCC will have to hit then won't they? Last time I checked no runs scored aren't going to win you too many Ballgames. Should be a good one up at the Fish Bowl tomorrow.

I agree that the last game means nothing as Myers has pitched effectively against the Birds over the years and this one probably close like the rest. I will say Birds are starting to hit better so could be interesting. I think HHS is a little too strong defensively and don't give much away and have a couple of hammers in lineup that will provide the difference. Pitching match-up is a stellar one though.

Beautiful weather predicted, should be a good night to catch a great ballgame!

Feels like a 9-2 game.

Always know it's a big game when Jimmy from Piqua shows up on the thread....

Should be excellent weather and an outstanding game.

Looking forward to this one tonight! Hey LB, make sure my Hot dog is cooked! LOL..

If NCC is to win this they need to clean up some of the little mistakes. The Birds are tough and I am predicting a run rule by the fifth.

Sorry Lawnboy.
