They'll play out WAY different. The show will actually finish.

I think it's a theory that could play out. But by no means would I assume that's what that meant.

I dont think we have enough to assume bran caused the mad king to go mad. I think it's possible though.

It could be that because of the Hodor situation that they're playing us about "Burn Them All". It's obviously the popular theory right now and some think that Bran made him "Mad" and all but IMO that would almost be an easy out for anything now. Bran can go back and alter events. I wanted the warning to be a look into the past, present, and future and I'm not so sure that I want him to be noticed or even heard while in those time frames.

As the action shifts to the Riverlands things could get real interesting. The Knights of the Vale are encamped at Moat Cailin just North of the Freys. It's fully plausible that Littlefinger could go entirely against the crown and smash the Freys on his way to help the Blackfish.

 

The story line of Sansa having Ramsey's baby provides a future conflict. Imagine 30 years down the road and this bad seed creates new conflict in the North after killing Bran, or Jon, or Rickon (if he makes it).

I know there's a much better theory out there, but the implications of Tommen fighting would be crazy. He could chose to do it out of religious zeal against everyone's advice, Cersei would have to have him killed to remain free, and Cersei is convinced Tommen will die anyway (and I am too).

Obviously, but a trial by combat is a religious event that's supposed to be decided by the gods. If Tommen has really taken the Kool Aid he could believe he'll win because of divine intervention. I just think he's going to die sooner than later and I also think Cersei is going to go crazy eventually and this connects the dots.

 

I guess we'll have a good idea after tonight.
