They have a GREAT coach in Mark Peach, and a great staff to go a long with it. Peach is a proven winner. He was at Hancock, Dunbar and at Campbellsville University. The rebuild of Anderson County, to some(s) standards will take a couple more years, but Peach and his staff inherited a team that won 5 games in 5 years, these kids have to know what it's like to win, and they will, then the ball will really be rolling. I look for them to go at least .500 this year, and possibly even run for a low seed playoff spot. That wouldnt shock me a bit, everything considered, that would be a HUGE step for the turnaround of Anderson Co. football. Best of luck!

I hear the struggled in their scrimmages and got handled by trimble county in one of them. If that is true could be a rough year. their first 3-4 games are pretty easy competition.

  What does this mean?

on friday they are recognizing the 86 undefeted team.

How has their JV team been since Peach took over? I do NOT see them going 500 this year. What district games do you see them winning?

We play Anderson County friday didn't know anything about them.

I see them winning their first 3 non-district games v.s Breck, Clinton and Pendleton, then wins over Bourbon and Western Hills. That's 5 games right there, at the minimum..just watch.:thumb:

I played them last week and they are huge up front, and come off the ball great. Coach Peach is a good coach. I am like Buffalo Gap, I see them wiining at least 5.

I have heard their QB is not playing tonight....is that true?

Thats amazing they are going to beat Western Hills since they haven't in the past three years. I would like to hear your theory behind this defeat!

My theory?! My theory is this, the man, Peach has won EVERYWHERE he has been, from Class A, to Class 4A to the college level at Campbellsville (where he got royally messed over) to a team (Anderson Co.) who except for the previous 5 years before Peach's arrival had everybody on their schedules RESPECT. Anderson Co being a team that from the mid 1980's through the late 90's had a great reputation for winning, and if they werent for them being in the same region as Danville during some of those years(91-96), might have made it to Louisville.

He inherited a team that won 5 games in 5 years, in 2003 and 2004, Anderson Co., I believe went 0-20 (i apologize to those if Im wrong). So, my theory is that he is starting a new era at Anderson, one that will get them back to the success they had prior to 2000. If you are bringing up past success, then theirs you some past success and my THEORY.

This is still mind blowing that you think that in two years he will be able to get this team to .500 or better, especially since you seem to be living in the late 80's early 90's. Takes more time then just two years and a great coach. I agree that coach Peach is a great coach and I respect him very much, heck I even know the man very well but you have to have the kids that are willing to sell out for the better of the program. If you don't have those kids then you aren't going to make it very far regardless how good of a coach your are. But I have to applaude your positive out look for their future!
