Police Officers Preaching To Drivers

Someone who passively cares about your condition is a real man. Be glad it's not a true Muslim trying to convert you. You'd get more than a conversation and a ticket. He is not forcing anyone, while he has your ear he uses it to a greater good. In the end he may help save lives. You're against that?

You may not see an issue with it, but many do. If you're alright with a Christian doing it, then you should be alright with a Muslim doing it. If not, you're a hypocrite. The bottom line is he was told not to do it, and he continued. Insubordination. Will get you fired every single time, and should.

I'm ok with anyone talking or explaining to me about their beliefs. I'm actually interested in other people and their regions of the world. You always have the power of choice. I'm not ok with force and threat of death. The lack of true peaceful religions is why this country is in the shape it is. It is the law for man on how to behave and interact with one another. You can see what the crybabies forcing it out of everything has done. Our society is spiralling down day by day. Nice call.

I'm against people deliberately disobeying their superiors while working. If my boss told me not to do something, and I continued to do so, I'd be fired. Why should this guy be any different?

I'm all for freedom of speech and religion, but the officer improperly crossed a line in this case.

If a cop pulls me over I really don't want to hear about his religion (regardless of what his religion is). It's not appropriate in that setting. If gives me a 'God bless you' as he's handing me the ticket, then ok I guess.

If he feels a call to service then he should quit his current job and find something in 'that line of work'.

Actually, you don't. When a preacher is on your doorstep, you can order him to leave your property. When Officer Convert the Heathens has you pulled over, you are detained and are stuck till he says you are free to go. I know that is not how you meant free to choose but I am making the point is that ultimately, he was unjustly restricting their freedom.

Do you feel the same about obeyin ALL laws, rules and regulations?

I'm not sure what any of that stuff has to do with my post??

If you deliberately disobey your boss, they should and will fire you pretty much without exception.

I have no problem giving the employee a second chance and warning them not to do it again. Also have no problem with the employee being fired if they keep doing it.

It was merely a question. Don't try to read something into it.

I think he is trying to figure out what your question has to do with this topic, hence his trying to read into it. I too am not sure what you are trying to get at either.

Yup, and it is really that simple.

Exactly.
