What weapons has Scott ever had? I don't understand it. It's the nicest school in Kenton County high school system. Nice facilities, large school grounds. I know Dixie is putting money into their location, but talk about gridlock. That would make anyone go crazy if they had to deal with that mess everyday.

 

Scott isn't even close to as nice as the other school's in the system.

 

Oh and Paul Poland was a huge weapon

I believe 2 of the 3 Ky Post writers picked Scott to win. They need to get out and watch a little more football. If HC doesn't win this won then the Koz has some problems..

The only reason everyone downs Scott is because of thier past and that is it. Scott has good talent WR Curtis Spencer, QB Tony Deck and Ryan Bianchi, they have a solid defence. Nobody will ever give them credit for anything until they win games and thats that. Nobody thought they could shutout Holmes last year 21-0 but they did. If they come out and play like they should they are a very good team. I know a lot of Scott players read these post and see everyone downing them but understand you will always have this until you win dont listen to everyone go out and prove them all wrong and play the best you can. Just because all these BGPers say all these things doesnt mean a thing just go on the field and win. You guys play hard practice hard and im proud of you good luck men!!!!!

If a A school comes out and beats Scott it will be a long season for Fisk and his Eagles this game could make or break Scott and really boost the Indians.

 

 

I don't think it really matters whether it is a 'A' school or not. However I do have first hand knowledge of the Scott Football program and I can tell you this, Casey Fisk does a tremendous job in keeping the kids spirits up regardless of the win/loss record.

 

 

While I would very much like to see the Eagles pull out the win, I am being realistic. If they can keep the score respectable it will help a lot as the year progresses.

Russell Poland was a fantastic back! On a good team, the kid would have been a household name. Scott also had Jarad Lorenzen's little bro, but not sure how good he was.

Holy Cross will prove to be too much for the 4A Scott Eagles. The Indians by atleast 3 td's.

not bad however he has tendency to over look wide open receivers looking for the long ball when there are opportunities underneath. he is not as much of threat to run as Bianchi. I think as the season goes on and he gets more snaps he will be better.

I agree the more snaps he gets the better he will get. He is a very smart football player.

Whomever it was that Scott ran out there as their 2nd QB was IMO and many others by far the better QB in the scrimmage against Ludlow

That was Ryan Bianchi he is a better runner but Deck is the better of the 2 passers he just need to get more snaps. Basically when Bianchi was in he just took and ran IMHO
