I'm surprised that Bart Williams chose Bath over Russell. I know Russell Basketball isn't the best job in the state by no means but imo it's a better job than Bath County.[/quote

 

You haven't been paying attention to the kids coming up much have you? Bath County won 2 straight OVC middle school basketball titles (and an EKC middle school football title) with the current freshman team. The incoming freshman are nearly as solid to go along with them and Williams' sons are in that age group (incoming junior and freshman) and will only add to the group. It will prove out over the next 4 seasons that he definitely made the right choice between the 2.

I don't believe he was formally offered the Russell job.

 

Yes he was.

Wireman is correct. Bart Williams was offered this job.
