5 Rule Changes To Improve the NFL

#1. That seems to be where they're heading anyway.

#2. Said that they should've done that instead of moving the XP kick point back.

#3. Disagree. I say take away all the coaches challenges, and put everything up in the booth. I don't want to see a critical play in the 4th go unchallenged because the coach doesn't have any challenges left, even if he's been right on all of the other ones!

#4. I like this. Heck, let's even adopt some arena football rules where you can have one person in forward motion too.

#5. Yes.

From the link they are:

1. Get rid of kickoffs.

2. Move the 2 point conversion up a yard.

3. Give coaches one challenge but let them challenge anything. (I don't like this one at all)

4. Soften the illegal formation rule. (Again I don't like this one)

5. Both teams get the ball in overtime, no matter what.

Didn't realize only six kickoff returns for TDs. Never understood why you loser challenge if you win the challenge. Why penalize for a bad call?

The only one I like is #5.

It's been mentioned on here before, but to eliminate kickoffs is to eliminate the onside kick, which makes comebacks that much more difficult. It also eliminates the surprise onside kick, for those gamblers who want to risk it for an extra possession.

The illegal formation suggestion is nightmare fuel. Hard enough to defend NOW.
