Legend missed a good portion of his junior year at LexCath with an injury. He was able to return to action during the playoffs but the Knights stayed with the backups - Fagot and Thompson for the playoff run.

 

It looks like Brumbaugh made the college visit rounds early - not waiting for the summer period between junior and senior year. My guess, and it is only a guess, is that some of the big name schools want to see him against higher level competition than he would see with the Knights schedule since he missed a chuck of the junior season. Even though the Knights always schedule up for non-district regular season games half their schedule would still be 3A Kentucky level and that is probably not what Trinity Christian faces in their schedule.

 

As with all injuries for players who plan to go to the next level, this was a tough break. But Legend seemed to have a positive outlook and be a team player at all times during his recovery and when he was able to get back on the field. Best of fortune to him and his family.

Hard to play at 3 different schools, in 3 different systems, in 3 years. There is a learning curve that takes place when going to a new school. Plus as someone else said he might not even be the starter at this new school. I can't imagine this would be a wise move. Jumping around from school to school isn't wise. Just my opinion.

Does anyone know the spring period works in Florida? On his Twitter there's a picture of him in a Trinity uniform playing a different team already? He only transfered from KY after this last season.

Florida used to have a spring passing season all spring long that teams competed in.

At the end of the spring practice season teams participate in spring jamborees.
