Hasn't Boley been named National Player of the Year?

 

I was corrected......Boley was Gatorade Kentucky Player of the Year.

Yeah the nobody outside e-town knows who she is comment is awful and does nothing good for anyone, not Creech (who is a 3 star), and certainly not her community image.

Boley is probably the most decorated player nationally ever to come out of Kentucky. I dont know anyone else who has the awards and recognition. Now if she just gets the National Gatorade Player of the year then that will be huge. Good luck Erin.

I think some who posted elsewhere about the process being political, was just caught up in the moment. The player who won was most derserving, and the runner up will do great things too. Just overall bad timing to have 2 awesome players at exact same year. Congrats to Ms Boley

Creech isn't that good. She's got incredible scoring numbers bc of the team she plays on and the competition she plays against. She's not the 2nd best player in her class. She might be in the top 5, but that's only because this class isn't super strong.

Signed a D1 scholly. "Not that good" seems a bit much.

Hence why Western "took a chance" on her. As mentioned on here earlier, those mid range jumpers will not be there in D1

Probably a poor choice of words. I was responding to the guys post above who said it was unfortunate there were two great players this year.

 

She's a good player. She doesn't belong in elite class with recent players like Boley, epps, hammonds, Greenwell etc.

Right person won, not much debate in my opinion

Sure would have loved to see her in blue next year.

It's amazing the hate that you can find on Facebook and Twitter about this subject.

Jackie Young was named Naismith Player of the Year. Gatorade does not name their National Player of the year to next week I think. Boley was a top 5 finalist for the Naismith and I would think one in the Gatorade also. Next week we shall see.
