March 14, 201610 yr O.K., it happens every season ....one, two or more teams are left out that should had been in the ncaa tournament ? I would say that by far the most hosed ..... Monmouth ... look at their OOC, it was loaded. They scheduled good teams (like the ncaa tourney "so called experts" told teams was needed and Monmouth Beat those teams. I don't know what else they could have done. San Diego State .... they may have more of a complaint than Monmouth by the same reason/ criteria. Although I'm glad that Vandy got in bc they are an SEC team, the tourney panel must have5 rewarded them for their tough schedule and they lost more of those OOC games than S.D. St. and Monmouth did. SO ... Who knows ? Doesn't seem that what schools are supposed to do ? They do what they are told and penalized for it. :idunno: Edited March 14, 201610 yr by bugatti

March 14, 201610 yr Author Over which tourney teams? Just at first glance I would question Vandy and/or maybe Michigan.

March 14, 201610 yr Just at first glance I would question Vandy and/or maybe Michigan. Monmouth's challenge is 3 REALLY BAD losses.
March 14, 201610 yr Author Monmouth's 2nd complaint is your spelling of their school name I thought that your spelling was correct as well .. until I saw how the selection shows spelled it. .... Monmound was how it was listed on the CBS show.
March 14, 201610 yr I thought your spelling was correct as well .. until I saw how the selection shows spelled it. .... Monmound was how it was listed. No wonder they didn't get in. They had the wrong team. Lol
March 14, 201610 yr I get that Vandy played a tougher schedule than South Carolina, but the Gamecocks should be in over Vandy. Monmouth beat Notre Dame, USC, Georgetown and UCLA. They have couple bad losses that should be overshadowed by 4 good wins

March 14, 201610 yr One of the higher profile Vegas odds maker said on Twitter that Monmouth would be favored or equal to about 10 at large teams in the field on a neutral court.
March 14, 201610 yr When you say "couple of bad losses" you mean 3 200+ RPI losses. ok, you got me there on Monmouth. But if we go by RPI, South Carolina ranks higher than Vandy
