March 10, 201610 yr About the Katina Powell scandal.. Rick Pitino, Louisville Cardinals coach, to interview with NCAA in April regarding recruiting scandal
March 10, 201610 yr Bout time. You sound like your excited about it. Up to now, no reason to believe he won't do anything but deny he knew anything was going on while also saying that nothing happens within the program that he doesn't control.

Up to now, no reason to believe he won't do anything but deny he knew anything was going on while also saying that nothing happens within the program that he doesn't control. The fact that this news came out in October and it will have taken six months for the NCAA to talk to Pitino is beyond absurd. I am glad he is finally talking to them. I'm ready for this whole mess to be over with, regardless of the outcome.
March 10, 201610 yr Author On one hand, it could clear some things up and help the situation. But on the other, more bad stuff could be uncovered. It would be good to get it all resolved over the summer, good or bad.

I'm ready for this whole mess to be over with, regardless of the outcome. I'd feel the same way...just get it over already, hit us with whatever and let us get on to getting past this. The longer it drags the longer it will take to get back to normal.
March 10, 201610 yr In the end does the NCAA go easier on UofL if Coach Pitino leaves before penalties are announced? If that's so, and that seems to be what a lot of people think, does he owe it to UofL to leave and in essence ease the punishment on the school and remaining players? or, Does his ego (meaning that he thinks he's the best to lead them through this) and $50,000,000 keep him from leaving voluntarily?

If Pitino were lead to believe him leaving would benefit UofL, he would leave on his own. I strongly believe that.
