March 10, 201610 yr Interesting list. Not a lot of great surprises. Did find it interesting that research only gave Calipari 3 Final Fours at Kentucky but last count I had was 4. (2011, 2012, 2014, 2015) All-time top NCAA Tournament coaches So where did the list get it right and where did it get it wrong?
March 10, 201610 yr Yeah....Not going to put much faith in a list that can't even count correctly. When I clicked the link, it took me right to slide #10. If you click through to view the previously slides, you'll see them both listed there.

March 10, 201610 yr Author I found the list didn't seem to have a real reason for gauging this guy over another. Some are listed higher with only 1 title on their resume and others with multiple ones are farther back. For example, Denny Crum was a little lower than I thought he should be. The guy was a great tournament coach. Every bit as great or greater than people laud Izzo for now IMO. Even when he never returned to the Final Four in the 90's his teams were on the edge and always making the Sweet 16.
March 10, 201610 yr How is Ed Jucker not #1 on this list? Coached for 5 yrs. Won 2 NCAA championships, lost in OT in another NCAA Championship. The Big O certainly helped, but that is pretty good. Always wished Fisher would have retired after winning the NCAA Championship. Career Record? 6-0. 1 NCAA Championship. Undefeated.

Did Juker coach the Big O?
March 12, 201610 yr Pitino too high, Crum too low. Both too low, 45 years of great coaching at the Ville - an amazing stat about Crum tenure was from early 70's until 89 every 4 year player had been to a final four
March 12, 201610 yr Author Both too low, 45 years of great coaching at the Ville - an amazing stat about Crum tenure was from early 70's until 89 every 4 year player had been to a final four That's not true. Crum went to the Final Four in 73,75,80,82,83,86. It is close but the 79 class never went. Pitino's record covers three teams. He has been great at all three stops.
March 12, 201610 yr Thanks for the correction. Crum was a great game coach, down 10 with 5 to go with all your timeouts and fans knew there was a good chance of winning.
