Any perceived pressure is contrived. Everyone at CCH knows that Eviston is a good coach. He's doing a great job. CCH is lucky to have him.

When Eviston coached at NewCath they started 0-4 a bunch times and ended up at the state finals.

No they will not get restless. Give the guy a chance for goodness sakes. Let kids get some time in his system and let him make his own schedule and see what the results are then. I am thinking that the schedule will take on a more local flavor.

I understand your point - you just seem to be particularly opportunistic lately with taking shots at CCH, whether it be hoops or football. But, not a big deal. Many of those statements over the past 2-3 years have come from non-CCH people, that frankly, seem to be looking to do nothing but stir the pot. No one can dispute the results on the field. But hey, the journey of a 1,000 miles starts with the first step. HHS is top dog and CCH has some nice pieces upon which to build. Hopefully, that speaks to a great future in the rivalry, with a bit more balance.

If Highlands wins the district last year, what makes anyone think that someone is going to beat them this year?

Im optimistic about the future at my alma mater, but the record books speak too loud. Until we knock off Highlands, they're number one.

You have to give Highlands the nod given both recent history and the district title from last year. CovCath is possible, but they'll have to prove it on the field.

 

How is Dixie Heights? I know they had a down year after losing so much to graduation following their trip to the 6A finals, but you'd think the program would shore back up after some time.

Dixie returns a lot of kids this year.
