March 5, 201610 yr Final in OT. One of the best college basketball games I've witnessed in person. Also one of the biggest upsets ever in the OVC Tournament. Peay has pulled three straight upsets over Tech, State and Belmont to reach the championship game. It has been nothing short of magical.
March 5, 201610 yr Author Chris Horton who is the best true big man that you probably haven't seen, had 30 points and 16 rebounds for Peay. He had 37 and 21 in the win over Tech and 15 and 12 in the win over State.
March 5, 201610 yr Author I have some incredible video but the Internet here is sketchy at best so I'll post later.
March 5, 201610 yr Didn't see it but heard it was a good watch. Always good to see Belmont end their season short of the Big Dance. Now that APSU has had a couple of feel good games, it is time for them to resume their rightful place missing the NCAA tournament. Come on, Skyhawks!
March 5, 201610 yr I just saw the story about AP's coach and his 5 year old grand daughter, who is battling cancer...really touching...
March 5, 201610 yr Author It's hard not to root for a team like Austin Peay. They have pulled off 3 straight upsets and 2 of them were pretty miraculous. It's fun to watch an underdog get rolling and believe they can beat anyone. Plus they have a Kentucky kid who is really good.

Every time he stepped to the FT line it looked like he was so tired he was about to fall over. Swished every one of them that I saw. Ref sure got the call wrong on allowing the tip in after the buzzer for Belmont. Glad they got it right.
March 6, 201610 yr Watched the game last night. Great game to watch. Looks like they may pull off another tonight, leading UT-Martin 50-37 16 minutes left to go 2nd half.
