CinBell Fioptic help

Featured Replies

I pay less than that, 3 TVs, Genie - HD, second highest package available. Call them, they work with you. The same setup with cable or fioptics is as expensive or more so. That's why I abandoned both, plus neither is anywhere near the quality of DTV.

Depends. If you're under contract, they really won't do all that much. If you're month-to-month, they practically give you whatever you ask for.

I'm under contract.

I wouldn't go to Cincy Bell for anything but Fioptics internet... TV is garbage.

Update: ESPN back to normal Tuesday night. Only took 5 days for them to fix it.

Do you have to sign a 2 year contract with direct TV?

Yes...

Yes...

How much did yours go up after the first year? Considering switching but IDK if I want to be locked in for 2.

I was concerned about that as well before I made the decision. That was like, 6 or 7 years ago. Never regretted the change. Whenever it went up, I called them and got the price back down. I will continue to do so until they no longer want to play ball. That's when I'll leave.

Interesting. Guess I'll check them out and see if I like what they offer. Thanks!

No problem. When you call them just ask what it will go up to after the first year and what other options there are. They're pretty helpful. Worse case scenario is you have to pay one year at the higher price, but you likely can work out a better deal.

If you decide to go with them, let me know before you do and we can both save $100 in credits for 12 months.

You got it!

I am ready to move on from cincy bell. Picture had to freeze up 20 or more times today. My brother has time warner and doesn't care for it much.

For those with direct tv, how many issues do you have when it's cloudy/storming. A friend has it and says most issues they have with reception are in winter.
