Coach French will have Lincoln Co back. I've said this since the day he was hired. The man has had success everywhere he has coached. This is a great sign. Keep it up Patriots!

I'm not so sure about a surprise. I think Lincoln either beat or tied Manual in a scrimmage last season. With that being said, Lincoln should be vastly improved this season. I wouldn't be at all shocked if they finished in the 7-3 range.

I can see 7-3. By the time next season rolls around I believe that Lincoln will be back to their old self. They will be in the same district with Mercer with the new re-alignment. That will be interesting since Coach French was at Mercer for a long time before heading to Meade co, and then to Lincoln co. He did alot for our program.

Lincoln co surprised me last year how well they did! I hope they do have a good season. For some of you who do not know,Lincoln Co. is a very big county! It's crazy that they only have around 40 kids playing football. They are a 4 A school with about the same amount of kids that play for 1A Danville.Boyle is 3A with around 70 kids,and now the Mercer-Harrodsburg merge Mercer has around 90 to 100 kids! Good luck to coach French and his team. I will be pulling for the underdog!

Not really. Manual usually treats a scrimmage as a scrimmage. Win or lose, as long as they have figured things out and are able to make tweaks for the regular season, that's all that really matters. Lincoln just appears to have fewer needs of tweaks.:lol: I didn't go to this scrimmage, btw.

This is not a surprise at all. Lincoln has as much or more talent as they have had since 1999 (region final team). They are loaded at the skill positions with a good group of seniors and have some nice young linemen. If they can score the points they should this year (not happened with since French has been there) they will be a tough team to beat.
