Getslow
I entered the thread not realizing it was going to be about soccer. I stayed for the bold... I haven't been terribly active in the politics forum lately... I've been saving up all my righteous indignation to launch at the criminals governing modern sports. justsayin
ESPN has an interesting look at how unlikely it will be if LC wins the EPL. Leicester entered the season as a 5000:1 shot (same odds as Elvis being alive!). It compares the odds of the most unlikely champion in other sports. The article says if LC wins, they will become the "undisputed champion of beating the odds". Why Leicester City could become biggest long-shot champion in sports history

mexitucky
Notice he didn't post this In a soccer thread. I needed it to be read. If I am not bashing a coach, player, or center ref, then it wouldn't get read over there.
mexitucky
Absolute classic today. They missed out with a poor second half. Still up 2 pts on Arsenal
OlDog75
Absolute classic today. They missed out with a poor second half. Still up 2 pts on Arsenal And playing a man down most of the match did not help. Dumb, dumb foul by Wasilewski at a critical time near the end though. Yup, I kept thinking they were going to weather that onslaught near the end but when the stupid foul happened, like you I knew they were doomed. Yellow Card
The Foxes almost missed out on getting a full 3 points today in what I would have called a bad tie. Getting a goal from Ulloa in the 89th minute will allow them to stay on top of the table.

mexitucky
Tottenham v Arsenal in the North London Derby. A loss here basically eliminates the Gunners if Leicester wins as well. 9 pts w 9 games to go would be tough to make up.
