I'm in the camp of we shouldn't play anyone that won't play us at home. AND I think the only reason we go to Ashland every year is for the financial package. But I could be wrong.

I agree TBF, I understand that the $$$$ deal is attractive however I do think that Putnam Stadium is also a reason. Just a great place to play h.s. football.

Because a stadium was built 80 years ago doesn't necessarily imbue it with an automatic berth in the Satdium Hall of Fame...crummy locker rooms are definitely a part of it for the teams and I definitely give this one to Russell. IMO, seating, pressbox and parking would also go to Russell. The only area I see that Ashland has the edge is in the quality of the playing surface. One out of five isn't better...:thumb:

I remember when my uncle Ricky Bobby scored 6 touchdowns, made 28 tackles, had 6 interceptions, and three fumble recoveries in aour 64-61 win.What a great tradition we had back then standing at the games,playing on a perfect playing surface with great concessions, bleachers, and parking.
