The summer season has sadly came to an end.

 

I was thinking ahead to next year and trying to invision the top players in each age group. I want to put a list together before the upcoming high school season of players that I would like to recruit to join our orginization. I could use some help. Some of these players may already be playing with another orginization. I have started a short list of some of the players that come to mind. Let me know of any that you think should be added.

 

17 and under (Juniors)

Umm from Holmes, Braeon Avery for 17 and under and MAYBE either Josh Nelson or Terrence Clark. Both played with the NKY Hawks. Also for the sophomore age group you might be interested in a kid by the last name of Johnson from Holmes. I know he was averaging around 20-25 points this year but not sure if he played any AAU.

For 17 and under Michael Grimes of CovCath. He played on the NKY Hawks as well.

 

For 16 and under, Brian Romes (CovCath) is improving in leaps and bounds. He could be very dangerous offensively by next summer.

Didn't he used to attend Newport? From what I heard that kid is the real deal...but I've never had a chance to see him play in person

Yes he used to attend Newport but has since moved on to Louisville and will be attending Louisville Southern High School. He most definitely is the real deal a very solid all around player. I expect great things out of him in multiple sports down in Louisville. Good luck Ark!!!

How did Mace look this summer, he's a huge kid but he didn't play much in the one game I witnessed but that was a December game.

Certainly don't know the young man or the AAU coach but you at least have to consider the notion that his living with AAU coach certainly would cause some to at least question the arrangement.. I wish the young man the very best.
