Mercer County 69 Pulaski County 58

Featured Replies

Mercer seemed to shoot the ball well tonight, particularly from 3. I would be curious on the % and how it compares to the season.

Mercer has a great team & can grow a lead so quickly with a few missed shots by the opposing team.. A lot of scoring options makes them very tough to defend.

It was a solid 10 point game For much of the second quarter, but Pulaski banked in a 3 with about 2 seconds left to cut it to 7 at halftime.

Mercer came out strong in the third, pushing the lead to as high as 21. It stayed in the 15-20 range for much of the second half.

Pulaski has nice guards along with a talented interior presence in Sylvester. I really liked their team's demeanor. They played disciplined, unselfish basketball and moved the ball very well.

What would the kids that came from New Mexico have added? And whAt happened that they are no longer there?

I heard they was at somerset.

I suppose they are trying to become eligible for next season? Having actually played for Pulaski will not help their cause.

I thought they went back to New Mexico? Over to Somerset, huh?

They are at Somerset to finish out the school year from what I was told. The family had already moved to Pulaski County and wasn't planning on leaving so quickly. It is possible they stay at Somerset, but my guess is they will be somewhere else next season.
