You think a school in the south would say hey we are hosting a hoops tourney so we cant name a football coach yet? I love KY and hate it at the same time.

I'm starting to think that maybe the administration is starting to listen to the people of this town and are reconsidering mcpeek. I know there was a meeting not long ago.

They have hired Kevin Mayes from Miami Viera HS.

Ryan Sizemore is going to be the new coach, and it will not be announced until after the boys Region Tournament which is at Montgomery County. This way it does not take away from the basketball team.

I'm hearing that the principal wants Sizemore but nobody else including the board. That won't work because the board has to sign off on hires if this is true. Looking like may go back to square one from what I've heard from people.

I am hearing they have already made the hire from someone that should know what he is speaking on. However, sounds like a debacle.

I am confused. Are they waiting to announce a hire? Are they still undecided? Is it one guy or the other? It seems that no one really knows what is going on.

Well thats not exactly true. On paper it says they dont, but in reality they do.

Listen I don't buy that bull about the region tourney, that should be where they announce him at halftime.

You work for me and the rest of the tax payers in Montgomery co.

 

Transparency is the best way when working for the tax payer. If hiring committees are going to be used you must allow them some voice, (6-2)

If not then why waste the people's time? You know the same people who pay your salaries, the tax payer.

 

If you can't operate above board, please start your own company and feel free to hire anyone you like.

 

I'm amazed that this is going on after what just transpired at our school system. If Sizemore is the best canidate then he should be hired, if he's not then we are right back to the good ole boy days at Montgomery co schools.

Exactly why you don't need a dang committee. The principal and AD should be able to make this hire and have the SBDM sign off and it is over.
