I had heard that after the pebbles won the title last year, Lynch was having a lot of remorseful second thoughts about not playing and would be back on the gridiron this year. He is an outstanding athlete, and he would definitely be a major asset if he did return to play. But if you say he is not there, then I guess he is not there.

Hey Ox I agree, a reliablesource says Andy is planning to come back to play his senior year. Not sure of any more details.

LT (and his parents) decided to leave Trinity after he was moved to the D-line. Trinity has many quality LB's, but are thin on the D-line in terms of experienced varsity players. LT would have been fighting for a role at LB instead of starting on the D-line. He (and parents) decided D-line was not in his best personal interest and left the school. The move happened well before the season began and the team has not skipped a beat becasue of it. I understand the parents talked with several Jefferson County coaches before deciding to move into an apartment in Jeffersonville so that LT would be eligible there. Best of luck to him (and his parents).

Based on what I have seen all year the D-Line is far from thin? He would have been a ROCK at the D-Line, but like everyone knows " THE ROCKS DON`T REBUILD, THEY JUST RELOAD" !!!! :dancingpa

I hope you are right. But with two major knee injuries over the past 18 months his prospects look kind of grim. I just know that Ox was incorrect in posting that Andy would play this year. That aint gonna happen.

He has not been in the weight room? a good place to start. A very good place to rebuild the knee and to get stronger for next year maybe?? He is behind the power curve.

How do you think Trinity will do this Fri v.s Scott. I know it's just a scrimage and both teams will try to get a better feel for the game before the 1st game, but still what do you think.

Scott has already scrimaged X and Trinity has not scrimaged yet. Advantage Scott???

The Rocks will probably have any easy game of it since Scott Co will still not have recovered from playing the Tigers:lol:

They have a decent team. It was hard to guage since X only ran about 2 running plays and 2 passing plays as the BG coaches were there. We were also looking to eval the two new QB's as well, so pretty basic. Scott has some good athletes, decent size on the line but were fairly one diminsional on offense. With Petrino in place I'm sure you'all will open up a little more than the Tigers did. Probably similar result when the night is done.
