First of all, I challenged an umpire's ruling

The league rules allow that a coach can question a "rules" call....it wasn't a safe or out or balls or strikes

The league rules also state the opposing coach is NOT ALLOWED to inject himself

You weren't there .....you don't have a clue and I don't think the guy is a bad coach because he's a jerk.....plenty of jerks are good coaches

He's just not one of them

Correct I wasn't there, incorrect that I don't have a clue about CC Knothole….you have no idea who I am or what I know about this little county.

Any why was it a glorious day?

Because David was not supposed to beat Goliath

My point exactly

So what ? My point stands, to be the best, you have to play the best and beat the best….the talent pool is a non-factor because that's the system we have. Believe it or not, most of the small schools do not favor classes for basketball….because they know they have to beat the best regardless.

BTW: It was a glorious day because anytime a mountain team wins a championship it is typically celebrated by the entire town in a large way, it creates hometown heroes and it likely influences and encourages kids who might not have role models or stay in school to stay in school.

It's bigger than the win….not sure you are the type of person who gets the significance of something like that...

And you obviously aren't bright enough to get my point .....Campbell County High School is 3 times the size of the "average" high school in the region

My point is they have the ADVANTAGE every year in having such a large enrollment

I don't really care who you are ....you made an assumption and you were wrong ....and I stand by both of my original assertions

The fact that Kentucky has 1 class in basketball doesn't nullify the fact that large schools have an advantage ......which is ALL I FRIGGING SAID

I see.....so it's only good for the "Davids"????

If they went at a disadvantage you wouldn't use the biblical reference

ADVANTAGE is what I've been saying all along

I realize I'm new to BGP, sort of, but I never thought my intelligence or philosophy would be criticized on here. What is wrong with you? I don't know you, don't ever want to. However you are the one in need of classes preferably sensitivity and anger management. One, this thread is about a high school basketball game. Two, everyone is entitled to their OWN opinion. Three, I always choose the underdog team at the State Tournament unless one of the teams I support is playing. Four, if I choose to do so I do not need someone certifiably rude to criticize my choice to do so. It does not matter the size of the school, there's always an underdog and to win you need a certain amount of luck. And on any night that team has a chance. I do not know the CC coach, heck I don't know very many coaches in northern Kentucky. I follow players on both teams. It was a good game. "Win with dignity and lose with grace".
