Dunbar 73 Lafayette 42

How tall is Hollingsworth?

Dunbar is way to quick and active on defence for the Generals.

If Dunbar's engaged on the defensive end, their hard to handle.

They held the General's starters to 8 points.

6'0/6'1

Bengal1 is awful quiet this morning...being there the score really wasn't indicative of the game. Dunbar is on a whole other level than anyone in the 11th at this moment. I see Dunbar; Scott County/Henry Clay; about 4-5 other teams and then the rest.

They beat Henry Clay by 18; lost to Trinity by double digits; and Henry Clay won at Trinity by double figures. Granted, they also have beaten Trinity, but lost to Madison Central.

I think they are one of the top 3 teams, no question. But my point above is along the lines of what PP said. I would have very little confidence in predicting the eventual state champion. There are simply too many variables in a one and out format.

Well yeah, anything can happen in high school basketball but still have to make a pick. The 11th region is not a lock even. I usually make a pick in the season then reevaluate come region tourney time.

For now, I like Dunbar. I also like Bowling Green, Mercer County, Trinity and Bullitt East. It'll be a fun tournament year.

I could not agree more. Here is hoping the Sweet 16 draw won't be lopsided as it has the tendency to be.

After last season I'll never predict a state championship winner until after all of the region tournament are done. :lol2:

Except for this one:

A lot of preseason Taylor Co picks. Those are not looking too good.

A few Dunbar winners & some CCH winners. Both are still legit, Dunbar probably more so. My Colonels still with good shot, but young.

Speaking of young teams, has Dunbar played Scott Co. yet?

Taylor County is still a very legit pick.

Agreed on Taylor County. Dylan Gaines played his first game last night for the Cardinals. That added weapon will help.
