David Sloan & Quentin Goodin lead Taylor with 19 & 18, respectively.

 

Corey Melton with 23 & Chance Melton 17 for Adair.

Taylor Co. avenged their loss from earlier in the season to the Indians. Adair was up as much as 28-18 at one point and was only down by one in the third quarter but the Taylor Co. offense proved to much, as well as Dylan Gaines playing his first game as he contributed 14 pts and 10 rebounds.

TC is going to be tough to beat if they get balance like this every night:

 

 

Sloan 19 pts 9 ast

Goodin 18 pts 7 reb 6 ast

Gaines 16 pts 10 rebs

Rafferty 10 pts

Taylor seems to have it clicking at the right time. Looks like they'll repeat in the 5th.

Judging by the debut of Dylan Gaines, TC can be finally and confidently entrenched as Region 5 favorite. Gaines wasn't entered into the game until mid 2nd quarter. I commented to another fan that he looked lost. Although I cannot recall a contribution by him until the 2nd half, his entrance seemed to coincide with Adair's demise. So most, if not all of his production came in the 2nd half. He will make a very good compliment to the Goodin-Sloan duo. His exceptional athleticism was apparent often. Gains cuts sharply to the hoop and can catch and finish. He has a good jumper and hits the boards hard. To put icing on the cake, he was 1 for 3 on threes. So a double/double, in essentially a half of basketball, ain't half bad!

Balance will be the key for TC the rest of the year. Everyone knows what Goodin and Sloan can do, but its up to the others to provide some positive minutes.
