January 15, 201610 yr What a great, great game. Spurs have won 23 (maybe more, at 8:30 am my brain is still waking up) in a row at home now. Kawhi is a Beast. Yes, I purposely put a capital "B." Pop and Craig Sager gave us another CLASSIC mid game interview. Pop: (jokingly) "Can't they send someone else out here?" Sager: "Sorry coach; its just you and me. Lamarcus Aldridge is 1/6 and Tim Duncan is 2/6. Do you have to establish --" Pop: (interrupting) "Do you have to tell me that stuff? I already know that! What's the question?" Sager: "How do you get them to be more involved in the 4th quarter?" I'd like to see him get Defensive Player of the Year. More often than not they give the award to big men but if there is a better defender than Leonard then I want to see them. He shuts down superstars consistently. He should be First Team NBA also. Unless Steph gets hurt the MVP award is his.

January 15, 201610 yr I think their is an outside shot of Leonard stealing the award if somehow the Spurs take over the #1 seed. But as of now I agree Curry is #1.
January 15, 201610 yr Leonard is my pick, he just plays. No showboating no trash talking just solid classy play. Leonard also benefits from Pop's team defence he demands. Your not left on a island in Pop's defence, they team guard the ball better than anyone in the league at this time.
