Covington Catholic 52 Holy Cross 44 (Frosh)

Final. Indians led most of the game, couldn't close it out.

Holy Cross led most of the 1st half with Spencer Macke scoring 14 pts. Cov Cath with nice defensive adjustment at half and held him scoreless in the second half.

Holy Cross did take a 6 pt lead in the 4th I believe but Cov Cath was able to come back and win by 8. Good game by both teams.

JV score?

It wound up about 10-12 I think, HC never got closer than 6 I don't think. So, even though you got the frosh spread exactly right, you missed the JV and varsity spreads. Don't go booking those plane tix for Vegas just yet, Cord.

I'd be curious to see how many FTs each team missed . It wasn't pretty.

I didn't know that Johnny Schuh was so athletic. He made life hard on HC in the game.

That was a trial run. If I got those right I was going to take a stab at the 1.5B lotto. Lol. Did any of the frosh boys get JV minutes?.... for both teams.

CCH does not dress any players from the frosh team on JV so..no.

HC had Houston dress JV and varsity. Played some in the JV game.

I would have thought by this point in the season Houston and Macke for HC, along with Coldiron for CCH would have transitioned to JV. JV for both must be pretty good.

Macke dresses JV for HC, didn't play tonight because he turned his ankle near the end of the frosh game. Houston had a couple big buckets at the end of the JV game.

Coldiron has only played a handful of games due to an injury.

By the look of the box scores he is hitting stride. Very good player.

Johnny can jump out of the gym. And has quickness reminds me a little of Casey Nowack from the JV team. Johnny is a strong defender.

Hops like his cousin Bo.

Hope Spencer recovers quickly! Nice kid that works his tail off at his craft.

Johnny one of the best/aggressive defenders that played for St.Pius in past 10 years. Right up there with Andrew Schult.

Probably leads school history for "fouls per minute" though. Good kid! Uncle Mike (Bo's dad) had some major hops in his day.
