Paul has been my #1 candidate, and I think the end for his campaign started a while ago.

He done .

The problem with Paul's campaign is his first agenda item is individual freedom, as opposed to popularity (like the rest of the candidates, R's and D's alike.).

 

It's a shame, because I sure do love me some freedom, and really could not care much less what Donald Trump thinks about football or that Bernie Sanders plans to spend 18 trillion dollars that nobody, let alone the US Government, has.

 

For whatever its worth, I was not and am not saying I would vote for Paul for a variety of reasons (mostly his foreign policies); he just seemed to be the best candidate upon the initial candidates to me. :thumb:

Why is he still hanging around? He has zero traction and about as good a chance of picking up votes from those who might back out over the next couple weeks.

He probably conformed on some things, but his views on the Patriot Act, the potential use of military technology on Americans, and most recently a Fed audit all seemed to make sense.

I agree, but we could also apply this to the 3rd Party candidates and supporters.

I've never been a fan, my circle of friends never bought into him.

 

The tea party things not new anymore and I think he's faded with that.

I never thought I'd say this but I kinda agree. He doesn't make me sick at my stomach like so many of the others do. He seems to be willing and unafraid to go against the party line whenever it runs counter to a core belief.

Perhaps, but those guys knew going in they had no shot and are doing it more to get their message out there. Paul actually believed he did have a shot, and now that it's clear that he doesn't, he needs to be attending to his duties in the Senate.

Lil Randy on cnn complaining and blaming everyone for kicking him out of tonights debate.

 

Give Randy a participation trophy so he will be happy and go home.

Rand was the only candidate from the major parties that had a shot at a "for" vote from me. I agree with him on a lot though he does/says some things that make me cringe too.

I just don't think Rand is quite hateful enough for most Republicans' tastes. That alone will relegate you to the "kids' table."
