I believe NCC considers their program to be as good as CCH.

Saying it is a poor effort might take a little of the sting out of the facts for you. We should go back to the results of last years JV tourney and see how NCC pulled that one off. NewCath = 1/3 of the male enrollment of CovCath. Still getting it done.

Again the idea of a JV team/games is to allow the players to improve and develop and then to make contributions to a Varsity team/games at some point either later this year or in the future.

 

At a small school you are somewhat limited by the talent on hand in each class. It does no good for some JRs to sit behind 4 Seniors, 1 Junior and 2 Sophs who are going to get 95% of the meaningful playing time. They are better off playing JV games especially the ones who played football and missed the first 8 weeks of practice/games.

 

Not all classes are created equal especially at a small school. You have to do what you need to survive. Next year NCC will have a overflow of Seniors and at least two Juniors that will play Varsity only. They may have to use Frosh on the JV.

No, entered the game 14-1, and were undefeated as FROSH.
