I created this thread after seeing the one regarding free agents that the Bengals should try to resign.

Now that the Bengals are "somewhat" successful, what free agents from other teams might consider Cincinnati and would be good fits? Here is a link to who might be available.

Not the Bengals, but I'd love for the Patriots to make a run at Forte. He'd be ridiculous in their system IMO. Wouldn't be upset if they went after Lamar Miller either.

I'd work hard to keep our own free agents except for Smith and Hall, then target a center.

Basically no one. The only one maybe would be the center Alex Mack if he can get out of Cleveland but it would depend what his price tag is.

It has been. Proven the most successful teams year in and year out are the teams that draft well. The teams who usually win free agency fall on their face. The colts are the perfect example of that again this year. They were the free agent Champs and fell on their face. They were terrible even before Luck for hurt.

Now if the Bengals lose some of their own key free agents, then they will need to sign a few.

No matter who we lose I believe you should be able to count the number of Bengals FA signings on one hand and have space left over.

Keep doing what works, sign who they can keep in house, build through the draft, sure up the back end of the roster with low end free agents that can play special teams or be a locker room leader.

Only time the Bengals should look at FA's is if they have another Carson Palmer type of situation where you're all in at one position and that guy goes off the reservation. Stick with the plan.

I take back my original statement, only one unless they like somebody in the draft.

A kicker that can kick from a NFL field goal distance.

A shut down corner. They are hard to find!!!
