Hoptown's schedule has been brutal too. I don't think any other team in Ky has played the level of out of state competition they have had to play so far.

 

J.O. Johnson - no. 1 ranked team in Alabama (at the time no.3 now)

Alatoona - no. 1 ranked team in Georgia

University Lab - no. 2 ranked team in Louisiana

Whitehaven - no. 10 ranked team in Tennesee

Ensworth - no. 3 ranked team in Tennessee (play 1/8)

 

Add to that a game against Bowling Green and they have had a tough start to the season. January is much easier although they play Ensworth, Christian County, and Wayne Co.

That is all true but I think all those states rank by class. Most have 6-7 classes so a team ranked 3rd in their class may not be ranked top 20 in their state overall.

And this is the reason teams need not be evaluated by those wins/losses to out of state competition. No real basis for an educated evaluation.

Hoptown lost because they had three starters missing in Prp tourney! And it was only by two points perspectively, they have also played harder schedule than anyone team in the top twenty respectively facing five to six teams with two or three already signed high major D1's where most of the top twenty teams are playing teams with just on high major D1 player.

Cool your jets there pal. Look at all the schedules before you blurt that one out there. Play in the 7th night in and night out and try that one on for size.
