Good win for Ashland on the road. Not easy to go on the road out of region and come away with a win.

I feel like this GRC team is an up and down team right now.

 

Unlike a finely tuned machine, this engine is missing at certain points in the cycle.

I thought it was crazy , when coach Biggs got fired. After watching Ashland play Greenup ,and some other wins they have. Looks like they made a good pick on a new coach.

The 3 Big E's are just a heartbeat away.

How has GRC not shown heart? They took a Scott team to OT (and had 2 clean shots to win) that many predict could win the 10th region, lost a tough game on the road to a talented Madison Central team, beat another 10th region favorite Pendleton Co in their house, came from 14 points down on the road and lost to Woodford after a HORRIBLE call by the officials (check out the video), went on the road and handily beat an undefeated and, Region 16 favorite, West Carter....not sure that qualifies as a lack of heart...

You are reading way too much into that statement.

 

The Cardinals are inconsistent at times especially during crunch time. GRC could have easily been 5-2 or 6-1 with more consistent effort, energy, and enthusiasm.

 

It will happen soon enough. It is just a heartbeat away.
