I'll assume you're talking about the Menchen kid. Not quite sure I would say they took him away. Had plenty of good looks at the basket. Shots just didn't fall which happens to even the best of shooters. If he shoots his avg 35-40% from the field (remember he was 6-9 from 3pt range in district playoff game vs Paris last year) then it's a different game. Enough for GRC to win? I don't know but, it clearly would have been a different game.

Great game also by Anderson and Menchen after both were held under double digits in previous game. GRC is tough to beat when these two score in double figures.

How has GRC not shown heart? They took a Scott team to OT (and had 2 clean shots to win) that many predict could win the 10th region, lost a tough game on the road to a talented Madison Central team, beat another 10th region favorite Pendleton Co in their house, came from 14 points down on the road and lost to Woodford after a HORRIBLE call by the officials (check out the video), went on the road and handily beat an undefeated and, Region 16 favorite, West Carter....not sure that qualifies as a lack of heart...
