Owensboro led at the end of the 3rd.

Good effort by the Devils. I didn't get to go but I was listening to the play by play from Jerry Birge. Sounds like Corey Gardner from OHS had 30 and the combo of Ware and Sebree was too much for OHS. I think CC is legit and it'll be interesting to see how far the Colonels can go.

 

OHS is a post player away from being able to play with pretty much anyone. The Devils did get Tavian Board back tonight which helped. OHS is 1-4 but I like this team. They are super young but watching a team mature is a part of what makes high school sports fun. I think OHS will be dangerous come tourney time and next year they'll be back in the mix

Interesting result for both teams. Looks like Owensboro is getting better and Christian County is continuing to roll.

 

I'm assuming Jacoby Harris is back for Owensboro?

Colonels are playing good when they are guarding, when they buy into his offence they will be better!

Yes Harris is back,but the Sophomore Gardner led the Devils in scoring last night . The Devils showed a lot by playing tooth and nail with a top five team last night,something to build on.

There is something about this group of young Devils that turn my head a little bit. I know it sounds crazy, but i put very little stock in wins and losses with this team right now. Aside from Jacoby Harris, all of these kids are getting their first real run in varsity games. You can see a ton of potential here. The only looming weakness i see is a lack of presence inside. If they can speed you up, it may be less of a weakness. Once these guys learn how to win games, lookout. It wouldnt surprise me in the least if OHS ends up winning its 3rd straight 3rd region title.
