Amazing stat from St. Xavier football

You would have to go back to the 1940's to find a losing season for St.X.

I just looked back on that Louisville football website and that's from 1959 until now.

Do you have a link?

I would be curious as well. I had it at one time and lost it when I upgraded my system. I liked to see how often CovCath used to play the Louisville schools in the 70's.

Interesting bit of trivia:

Highlands will play its 1000th football game on October 20, 2006 at South Oldham. The following week they finish the regular season at home against Cov Cath.

Hey, maybe we should cancel a game so it works out to fall on that last home game! ;)

Oxnard might be able to shed some light on St X football history prior to 1959. What say you, Ox?

I dunno, he'd have to be pretty old to do that. :sssh:

Highlands started the season 0-3 in 1991, but the first game was later ruled a forfeit.

Yes, and guess who it was!

I know that we had some terrible stuff at the beginning, but I would venture to guess that 4-5 is max on our losing streak as well.

Don't do that. It would be tough for the Birds to take a loss on such a festive occasion.

In 63 we went 0-10.

Ouch!

Ouch!

I am so glad I was 20 years away from being born at the time. :walk:

^ I'm glad you changed that...since the beginning ('63)...four games is our longest losing streak.

Don't rub it in, I was 12 years old in 1963!
