December 9, 201510 yr I don't think so. Everyone's criteria is different but I don't equate Harrison as being an all time great.

December 9, 201510 yr Let me preface this by saying I hate James Harrison with a burning passion, except the 1 year he was with the Bengals haha, but the HOF was made for guys like him. The greatest at his position for the good part of a decade, 2 super bowl rings, and all around great guy. If James Harrison isn't a HOFer I don't know who is.
December 9, 201510 yr Here is one HOF LB's stats - 268 games - 1846 tackles, 1436 of those solo, 410 assists, 56.5 sacks, 12 fumbles forced, 18 recovered, and 18 interceptions. Harrison is at 156, 692 tackles = 501 plus 191 assists, 76.5 sacks, 31 fumbles forced, 8 recovered, and six interceptions. The side by side tells me length of career is the only thing holding him back. The sack number is incredible. (Also can you guess what LB I used for the blind comparison?)

December 10, 201510 yr He'll have to wait for some time, if it happens. Great career, awesome narrative but I don't see him as HOF. The SB interception will last forever.
