Final per update thread.

Great game to start 33rd district play.

Wish I could have made it.

Sounds like it was close the entire game.

It was a very great game. And very poor officiating, but at the end of the day Conner lost because they couldn't hit free throws. Can't wait for next meeting between the two. Should be a good one.

Jags missed their fair share of free throws down the stretch. Conner lost because they were wore out and couldn't make buckets when it mattered.

The BC schools seem to have some tight games.

I agree, officiating was poor, it gave Conner more free throw attempts than they deserved.

Can't really agree with the bolded, don't think this would have been enough to get them the win. I feel they both missed some free throws they need to convert on.

Cooper got off to a fast start at 16-6 but Conner cut into the lead by the end of the first quarter to make it a game.

There were a few times in the second half that Conner was able to take the lead but I did not ever feel that the Jags were in danger of losing. The 3rd quarter was rough to watch, foul after foul after foul.... there was absolutely no flow to the game.

I think the Jags took control about midway through the fourth, they converted on a few trips and Conner did not. Cooper kept a 6-8 point cushion for the last few minutes, Conner hit a 3 in the last few seconds to make it 66-61 at the horn.

Heard Sean McNeil had a tough night shooting so I'm glad to hear 3 other players stepped up and ended up in double figures. Coach Sully is developing a good team out of his young crew.

McNeil was off a little, had a few open shots rim out and never really got going. Converted a 4 point play early in the second half, thought this would get him over the hump but it did not happen. I still think he had a good game last night, had a few nice assists and played well on the defensive end of the floor.

Kunkel had a nice second half after only getting a few minutes in the first half because of foul trouble. Not certain he scored any in the time he played in the first half, all 18 might have been in the second half and several of these came from the line.

Hendrix had a nice game last night, played well on both ends. Conner seemed to have trouble slowing him down when chose to take it to the rim.

Rohlman provided a great spark off the bench, he came in early and quickly hit a couple of 3's, I think he ended up hitting 4 of them on the night.

Rohlman is a nice weapon.

By reading posts here seems to be an ongoing issue with the refs in NKY becoming very active calling fouls in the second half of games? Just coincidence or something else going on here?

Cooper looks very athletic so far this year and is playing with lots of swag. Coach sully looks to have this young team playing well together.

Who reffed the game? I thought I heard there were a few good ones on the crew?
