I am not going to hammer you, or even disagree with you. You are right. However, I want to say this too.....the kid plays thru his mistakes. Some kids don't. But he most certainly does. He believes in himself. That is a pretty special quality, and we are lucky to have him. Also, never seen even a hint that his teammates also don't believe in him. If we can't have a quaterback who is perfect, give me one just like the one we have.

If the game is on the line in the 4th quarter and I get to pick any 2 players, I want our QB Arnett and our kicker Herndon. These 2 are money and as Otis, I meant MayfieldFan, said, we are lucky to have him

 

 

If you are a MF fan you have to be really excited about next year. nearly all the D returns, the O line will not be sophomores any longer, the backfield is so deep that we have to many options led by Bright. The receivers will be new but extremely talented. Outside of the licker/punter we are as good and better in most positions. I too hear the kicker is pretty good that is coming up. I already expect next years version of the Cards to be a favorite to 5peat

Is it August yet? I'm really looking forward to next year! I think CAL has a lot returning I'd like to play them. EVEN IF we were lucky enough to 5-peat, there's gonna be haters, I'm sure Trinity, St X, highlands know the feeling.

Guru should luv him some Cardinal football. Outside of maybe Highlands and Beechwood, the Mayfield contingent on BGP is about as strong as anyones.. A vocal bunch, i might add that are sometimes fickle and get their feelings hurt easily and cries foul a little too often, but, still a stellar bunch all in all..
