December 3, 201510 yr I've been to 2 UK games, 1 UL game and 3 WKU games this season. I truly believe WKU is the best team in the state. Toppers go to 11-2 and crack the top 25.
December 3, 201510 yr What are the bowl ramifications for WKU for a win and a loss? There is probably a tie-in for the C-USA champ. However, even with a loss, WKU would be an appealing bowl team because of their offense. Their ultimate appeal would likely come down to how many tickets can they sell?
December 3, 201510 yr CUSA has 5 bowl tie ins. Conference Champion has first choice of where they would like to go. For whatever reason WKU's AD and athletic department prefer a pre Christmas bowl. Looks like it will come down to St. Pete of Miami Beach. From everything I'm reading your are probably gonna see WKU vs. South Florida. South Florida is of course coached by former WKU player and coach Willie Taggert.

I'd MUCH rather see them play a power 5 team in a bowl game than USF (yawn). Willie or no Willie, that game wouldn't be nearly as exciting to me as seeing them get another shot against a P5 team; hope it goes that way.
