Nice game for Holmes to start the season with to see where they are as Henry Clay is obviously going to be really good this year and feature one of the better seniors in the state with Tisdale.

Interested to see how that match up goes between him and McClendon. Tisdale killed Holmes last year with over 30 points.

Who wins and why?

Ill take Holmes, I watched Henry Clay this weekend against South Laurel and they did not impress me at all, South looked better at every position.

It's going to be interesting to see how the Holmes team plays together. The defense will be solid, but scoring could become an issue. I'll take my Dawgs in a low scoring scrap fest.

Really tuff opening game for Holmes, on the road in Lexington against a really good Lexington team. Tisdale will be a load for the Dogs, if Holmes can get some other scores to help McLendon it will be a good game. I will be there and hope to give some updates.

Whate time is this one and is there a JV game?
