So how many New Years Eve Events Flop due to College Football Playoffs?

Featured Replies

How many New Years Eve will suffer due to the College Football Playoffs taking place on 12/31 the next two years?

Have your plans changed?

I don't think any will suffer too much.

People that want to watch the games will just incorporate that into the festivities. People who don't, it won't change anything for them.

New Year's Eve is amateur night anyway. I'd rather watch the games.

I was just coming to post the same thing.

Our NYE's have become friends, football, family, food, some bubbly and hang out these last several years as is. The CFBP/New Year's Six has just made it that much better.

Come to think of it, even back in college I/we didn't do much on NYE because of the same thing....amateur night.

I hate "going out" on NYE. I'd much rather be at a house "party" with close friends.

My plans lately have been watching Twiight Zone reruns on the SyFy channel. Therefore, I welcome the football, as you can imagine.
