November 29, 201510 yr 1. Akili Smith 2. Neil O'Donnel 3. Scott Mitchell 4. Turk Schonert 5. Erik Wilhelm To put Wilhelm there over Jack Thompson is a flat-out travesty.
November 29, 201510 yr Heck, I don't think Phillip Rivers is as good as Dan Fouts either... But Rivers is breaking all his passing records with the Chargers and many, if not most, will say Rivers is the Chargers greatest QB of all time... I remember Dan Fouts well. He had a really nice run between 80-82. Rivers has gotten it done for longer. He's 4-5 career in the playoffs while Fouts was 3-4. Fouts' average yards per attempt in the playoffs was 5.8 while Rivers' is 8.0. Fouts has 12 TDs to 16 INTs in the playoffs to Rivers' 11/9. Fouts was 86-84-1 as a regular-season starter while Rivers is 90-64. Don't let nostalgia — or a really good couple of years — get in the way of reality. Rivers trumps Fouts six ways from Sunday.

One thing's for sure, San Diego would've loved to have either of those two in that Super Bowl butt whipping they took from the 49ers... Lol. I've often wondered if one of those QB's could've made much difference in that one...49ers were really strong that year with Steve Young.
November 29, 201510 yr Is Palmer the only 1st round draft pick out of the four? Yes he is... Not only that, first "overall"... Anderson was a 3rd round pick Dalton ofcourse 2nd round Esiason was also 2nd round

November 30, 201510 yr Dalton, Anderson, Esiason, Palmer. Bottom line is winning games and Andy Dalton just wins. It won't be long before he has more playoff wins than the other 3 combined.
