I'm very anxious to see how Lincoln County turns out this season. I know they lost a ton but they've got a key returner in Noah Young and what appeared to be a very solid junior varsity club last season. And of course Jackson will have them playing well as the season goes along. I think Lincoln could be very difficult to defeat in the postseason.

 

I think the 45th District will be super tight this season. Not much of a margin between 1-4 this season. I give Boyle County the edge as the favorite in the 45th right now. There isn't anyone in the district who will be able to stop Colton Elkins.

Can't wait for 12th region basketball to get underway.

I would suspect another year where the top 3 teams are clear throughout the season but pending the draw could set up some interesting match-ups.. The SW/Wayne battle will be another good one.

 

Imagine another SW/Mercer first round battle? Can the 47th district break through and win a game or two and possibly make it to the finals? Lincoln had a great JV bunch that seemed to have great chemistry. It sounds like Casey has a bunch of new faces; anxious to see how they mesh together.

 

A lot of new faces all around the region and it'll be exciting to hear some new talents breaking through this year.

Anybody got any updates from the scrimmages at Pulaski County today? I know all 47th district teams were there.

East jess played at GJ Smith Classic at south laurel yesterday. They are way down. Sw played clay co Clay was up 41-40 at half. Not a lot of def played in first half by either team. Both shot it fairly well. Sw jumped on clay to start 3rd and was up I think 16-2 when clay pulled smith and farmer and they didn't return to the game. Sw went on to win 2nd half 41-22 or so. Steven Fitzgerald looked really good.

Sw shot ball pretty good. I think Peyton Cundiff was 4-5 from 3 off the bench

Went to the scrimmages at Pulaski saturday, Saw Garrard play Cumberland County. Garrard beat them by about 20 if you add all 4 scores up.
