2002 Trinity v. Elder

Featured Replies

Was this game on television in Northern Kentucky? If anyone has a copy of the broadcast, could you please contact me regarding obtaining a copy of the game film.

I too would like a copy if there are any out there.

I was on the field for this game and it was a treat.

Gametime, any info?

If you send me a reminder PM, I will ask the athletic department when I start at Trinity on Monday.

I don't remember the game being televised in Northern Kentucky, but I was at the game and may be wrong.

You may want to contact the Elder athletic department.

Realistacally if you just want the film, I am sure that you could e-mail Gary Owens or Coach Cov, and they could get you the endzone or sideline copy.

Call 859-261-1300. I believe it has been mastered to DVD, and can be purchased for around $20. The bad news is you have to listen to me call the game... :D

What a game that was! Brohm was absolutely phenominal in that one! Elder could have won this dual , but muffed several chances in the red zone.

Trinity won by 24 points if I recall, that is a heck of alot of muffed chances to overcome.

I'll always say that the Elder coaches reaction to the goal line fumble at the start of the 2nd half turned the tide of the game...

I thought Trinity was winning at the start of the second half of the game?

If Elder scores that TD they take the lead (either that or tie it up. I can't remember which). The fumble was legit per our replay, and the Elder coaches lost all control of their emotions. Instead of T ball at the one foot line, the ball was on the 15 because on the penalty they drew. Pass interference on the first snap put T on the 30, and from there the route was on...

You are probably correct, I honestly don't remember. I was under the impression Trinity was up by more than a TD at that point. Again, I don't recall and will assume you are correct.

I just checked and it was 17-14 T at that point...

WE were only up 3 at the half.
